Planning an expedition
To plan an expedition contact JSASTC for detailed advice well in advance of the date - 2 years is not too early for a major expedition. Then apply for the allocation of a Sail Training Craft by completing and returning the STC application form available on this website. There is no cost attached to the allocation of a STC although berthing fees etc will need to be considered as an expedition expense. Check that you and your crew(s) have the appropriate qualifications required for your chosen expedition area. Project Officers must send JSASTC a completed copy of a JSATFA for all expeditions.
