Navy Cup Final Results

The 2011 Navy Cup Final was held at Southwick Park Golf Club on Monday 18 July.  With the loss of HMS Caledonia due to financial restrants the remaining 5 teams hotly contested this 36 hole Stableford Final.  After the morning round HMS Excellent, last years winners, had opened up a 13 point lead. With a downturn in the weather the afternoon proved to be a tougher test of golf. Fortunately for the Excellent team thay managed to hold on to their lead and maintained the trophy for the second year. In the individual competition Ian Stamp (HMS Excellent) followed a 42 point morning score with a score of 33 points in the afternoon to win by 1 point.  Full results below:
